Really good hip hop is hard to find, I think.
There are a select few that can say they make hip hop music, but all the others are lost in a whirlwind of cutesy, commercial "club bangers". Some good hip hop ARTISTS are people like: Common, Kanye West, Mos Def, Talib Kweli....they're out there, but they never get any radio rotation 'cause they only tell the truth!
All the teeny boppers out there get caught up in listening to different rappers rap about the same stuff...but they always say they "just like the beat"....it's sad if you think about it...oh well.
Who knows, maybe one day hip hop will rise from the dead and get this garbage off the radio....?

Yes, true hip hop is. The kind that came from the soul and the struggle. Or at least none of the people that make hip hop real or good are being acknowledged. People like Jurassic 5 and dilated peoples. Or at least i should say there isn't a balance anymore. Cuz cats are still tryin.

In a way yes, but in anotha way no. LYRICISM is pretty much dead, theres not very many people that can actually rap anymore. Hip-Hop is on life support, & this Snap/Crunk/Hyphy music is like AIDS its jus killing it slowly. All most rappers talk about today is their money their hoes their candy paint & their grills. Thats whats killin hip-hop. No its NOT DEAD but it IS on LIFE SUPPORT

& for those that are sayin it shuld be.....**** YOU

from ITALY .
I was one of the first to listen to hip hop in Italy ... I liked it from 1986 ....
Now I think it's time to stop ... it's only ridicule ... and I think this is due to gangsta rap ... low profile rappers !

No, though it really has cooled thanks to Lil Jon and other untalented people. When Biggie and 2Pac died, so did the glory of rap and hip-hop.
