there is this strange flash of bright red light...it fills the room with it.
it isnt consistant, but random like lightning

It's about several people who travel to a different country and they want to build a bridge thinking that it will improve the lives of the tribe that lives there only to find out that there are several different 'agencies' that want to use the bridge for different reasons and those reasons would destroy the tribe. I think one was for drug trafficking.

But anyway, they built the bridge out of the trees and things from the jungle surrounding them.

I think Tom Hanks played in it but I can't be sure. And he was kind of a playboy in it. Built himself a little club with a bar. (I hope I am not getting two movies intertwined here)
