Edit: A double entenre is something with a double meaning (It's a french phrase meaning 'double' - same in english and 'entenre' - meaning). 'The bar man gives her one' has a double meaning. Did he give her a 'double entendre' or did he 'have s*x with her'? This is funny. Probably a bit too high-brow for here, but still funny.

The other part of this joke explanations often miss is that Double Entendre is also the name of a drink. Thus there are two double entendre's (at least) in this joke.
