Imagine turning gossip into profit. People watch the show, can gossip about the characters and never have to face the people they label or gossip about. Plus the people on the show, whether liked or disliked immediately have "celebrity status."

It becomes kind of like Jerry Springer without the talk show format.

Maybe they're running out of ideas! Why are producers doing re-makes so much? Or doing sequels that aren't neccessary.

Reality shows make a lot of money too. n

TV gets a lot of money from reality shows. Think how many people vote and it is lyk 50p a vote they get over 1,000,000 votes thats like £500,000

They will die down someday. Awful, aren't they? I watched parts of 2-3 of them-couldn't take it.

But, they do not bother me-----I'd rather watch the History, Discovery, and Animal Planet channels.

nothing against reality shows but are young people learn nothing but bad things from them.i think is sad that all we teach them is how to get over on other people.
