The character is a girl crazy Wolf that apears in many cartoons including Heckle and Heckle, Betty Boop, Droopy, and Loony Toons he was also depicted in the movie The Mask by the Mask but I do not know the Wolf's name.
He is a very amusing character as he is often distracted from his purpose by a pretty girl to which reacts by "wolf-whistling" and acting crazy.
I believe that the term "wolf whistle" came directly from his character.
Pretty girls are his weakness and he has no control over his reaction.
I have a small figure of the Tex Avery Wolf as my desk mascot and many people ask me what his name is, but I don't know.
I just know him as Tex Avery's Wolf.

I remember reading it a long time ago like in 1993 or 1994. It was about a pretty girl from the present time that fell in the river and when she came out, she was in past during Egyptian times and a Egyptian prince fell in love with her. The sister(?) of the prince was jealous b/c she wanted to be queen and loved him? The sister would do all these horrible things to the girl to get her killed. Does anyone know the name of the comic series?? I want to try to find it again! Thank you!

I've read that the song is made from two separate recordings at different speeds, and the second was slowed down to match the tempo of the first. My question is this: was the second recording spliced in only once in the song, or was it spliced in over and over (since "let me take you down..." comes around more than once)? Just curious.
