A Scotsman, American, and an Irishman are in a bar.
They are having a good time and all agree that the bar is a nice place.

Then the Scotsman says, "Aye, this is a nice bar, but where I come from, back in Glasgow, there's a better one. At MacDougal's, you buy a drink, you buy another drink, and MacDougal himself will buy your third drink!"

The others agree that sounds like a good place.

Then the American says, "Yeah,that's a nice bar, but where I come from, there's a better one. Over in Brooklyn, there's this place, Vinny's. At Vinny's, you buy a drink, Vinny buys you a drink. You buy another drink, Vinny buys you another drink."

Everyone agrees that sounds like a great bar.

Then the Irishman says, "You think that's great? Where I come from in Dublin, there's this place called Murphy's. At Murphy's, they buy you your first drink, they buy you your second drink, they buy you your third drink, and then, they take you in the back and get you laid!"

"Wow!" say the other two. "That's fantastic! Did that actually happen to you?"

"No," replies the Irish guy, "but it happened to ma sister!"

I am in the U.S. and I would like to know if there is any way to receive FTA satellite channels by using a DirecTV dish and receiver.
If this is a stupid question, I apologize.... I am just now learning about this sort of thing, so I am rather ignorant concerning the subject.
If this can NOT be done, where can I get FTA equipment really cheap? I'm on a budget and can't afford but so much. Thanks, y'all!

last night i dreamt that i was at work, and Bob Dylan walked in and wanted to hang out with me.... So i was asking him what Janice Joplin and Gerry Garcia was like, when i asked him if he knew Tom Petty... Bob clapped his hands together and he turned into Tom Petty... so we were talking and Tom turns into a giant buffalo and the buffalo squishes my desk.

My BF has been b!tching at me to quit smoking for 6 months now. I finally decided to do so, and haven't had a cigarette in about 3 days. Yesterday, I said, "Hey babe, have you noticed I haven't smoked lately? Aren't you proud of me?" and he just mumbled something and went on about his business.

How come he could rant and rave every time I lit up, but now that I don't, he can't even give me a word or two of praise?

I didn't see "The Matrix" for like a million years after it came out and left the theaters. All my friends saw it opening weekend and I never had time and then the 2nd and 3rd ones came out and...you know. Mine sure is. He's a miserly cheapskate and I think he has obsessive-compulsive disorder. He throws a fit if he has to spend a single penny and all his gifts are hand-me-downs. Occasionally he breaks into a song about how much he loves money. One time he actually charged me and my employee to breathe. He pays us a nickel an hour and I have no idea how me and my neighbor manage to live so well under those kinds of wages.
