Keep in mind, once you have a Corporate empire, you're clearly taking money that would've been going to the balance of the economy aka whatever your competition was. You beat them and now they hate you. They have hate sites up about you as they do for Microsoft and Wal-mart. They call you an Evil Genius bent on world domination. You rape the environment, abuse rainforest, and Eat test animals for breakfast. But you're filthy, and I mean unimaginably stinking rich. The government envies you. That's one option. In the other hand you have yourself being a humble civillian. Perhaps hermit almost, because you're poor and no common day female will go near you due to your fiscal neglect. You're happy and take joy in the smaller things of life, but without all that money, you can do no MAJOR good as far as acquiring food for the needy, or so on, yourself. You'll live and die alone, but possessing life's simple joys. You have choose, there is no in the middle on this. No split banks here.

It was a favorite of mine, until I actually read all of the lyrics...

You can't escape now
I've got you locked inside this room
You know I tip good
And soon, you will love me too

Don't be upset now
You know that I get angry too
Don't make me hurt you
It's true
No one hears you in this room

This is what you get
When you're talking back baby
I never bounce a check
So give it up, baby
Open up your eyes
I want to watch you cry
Come on, come on
The camera's on [x2]

Now I'm a changed man
But as a boy I was so true
The world can't protect you
It's true
Not like money will

You want some bread now?
Just promise me
You'll never make me believe you
It's true
No one hears you in this room

This is what you get
When you're talking back baby
I never bounce a check
So give it up, baby
Open up your eyes
I want to watch you cry
Come on, come on
The camera's on

Back in the 30s, 40s, and 50s, sex in films was virtually non-existent and it was mostly implied (i.e. the affair between Rick and Ilsa in "Casablanca" or the staircase scene with Rhett and Scarlett in "Gone with the Wind").

Nowadays, sex in films and even television is incredibly blatant. My question is this:

Do films and TV shows REALLY need to have sex in them? Would it hurt the industry to imply that sex has occurred between two characters?

I'd like an unbiased answer; no smart-aleck stuff, no "you're a prude" kind of stuff (well, yeah, I am a prude but that's a different topic altogether).

Can the film and entertainment industry generate the same amount of income from toning down on the sex (and leaving the sex to the adult entertainment industry)?

During a visit to the mental asylum, a visitor asked the Director what
the criterion was which defined whether or not a patient should be
institutionalized.

"Well," said the Director, "we fill up a bathtub, then we offer a
teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket to the patient and ask him or her to
empty the bathtub."

"Oh, I understand," said the visitor. "A normal person would use the
bucket because it's bigger than the spoon or the teacup."

"No." said the Director, "A normal person would pull the plug. Do you
want a bed near the window?"

Did you pass, or do you want the bed next to his?
