They usually have a PLAYLIST of the songs they like and are expecting to keep playing. If it is in there it will be back again.

It's called corporate radio. Clear channel owns about 95% of all stations. With music piped by satelite from a central office in New York.
Get XM or Sirius to get away from the constant 22 song rotation.

I once had a girl working for me who listened to a station that played 5 songs, over and over.
And then they would play the Number 1 song, which was one of the 5.

You can always call the radio station and tell them what day and time you were listening to their station and they can tell you who was the radio dj that day. Then maybe they can put you in touch (phone # or email addy) w/ that dj and you can describe the song the best you can.

Another thing you can do is to think of a line of the song you liked and google it.

Good Luck

Yes, they do very frequently. they may even repeat it for about 6 times. It depends on the DJs and they all like the song and it is very popular with the listeners

I dunno. I stopped listening to the radio about 10 years ago because I heard the same songs at least 20 times every day. I don't know how much it's changed it's since but it's probably not much so I say you probably have a good chance at hearing it again.
