My schools announcements used a song today.. it was 80'sish..or late 70s? The voice sounded almost 'Rush-ish'. there is avery heavy synthesized bass-beat, thery don't seing for a while but hwne they do its is very high pitched.. maybe has the word monring or wake-up... but i can't understand them... help?

...preferably something recent. I need some good songs about love to bring in to school for extra credit. It can be happy or sad, I'd prefer it to be within the genres of hip-hop, rap, or R&B, and I won't mind a little pop either.
