What was the best bargain you ever bought?

To give an example, I bought a simple buggy for my toddler, cheap fold up runaround. It never let me down, has been used for two children, and nowadays gets used to transfer shopping from the car to the house. The amount it takes but has never buckled.

Your thing could be cheap, expensive or somewhere in between. But it must have been reliable and well worth the money...

Have you known anyone personally who has rec'd an Extreme Home Makeover from ABC and Ty Pennington?

I went to scope (snoop) one out yesterday and its going to be a new home in an old neighborhood and is going to look out of place, but more importantly, I am curious if the owners of the home actually own the home that is the result of the makeover or is it property of ABC? I guess I'm concerned with how these destitute families pay taxes and insurance on these homes and what keeps them from selling them and running off with the money? I've checked with ABC and there are no available answers. Just thought maybe someone with some "connections" might read this. In any event, have a wonderful day!!
