This boy that ive liked for a while had basically (to make a long story short) asked me to be friends with benifits, he wanted to lose his virginity to me, and me bein a virgin i wasnt ready and didnt want to take the risk of pregnancy, so i told him no...2 weeks after i say no he talks to me again and we completely avoid what had happened, i reply he doesnt write me back and then when school started (2 weeks later) he talks to my friends but ignores me, i send him a message asking him why hes avoiding me he doesnt write, a week later i try one more time, telling him i wanted to know, he says I have nothing to do with why hes not talkin to some people but it turns out im the only one, then he says that hes going through something hopefully i dont have to go through, i ask him why he didnt tell me that when i sent the first message and i told him he could still talk to me about it if he ever needs me and he writes back but doesnt answer my question all he says is thanks...i dont write

Theres this boy I like he is a year older than me, but he didnt pass the seventh grade so I think my friends might think he ios dum. Most of the music I like is from the 80s, with some of my fave bands including Depeche Mode, New Order, The Smiths, Erasure, OMD... you get the idea. Yet many of my friends who are into music say the 80s music scene was dreadful and "the age musical taste was abandoned". Yet I think it is great.
What do you think? I make specific reference to New Romanticism, synthpop and electronic music, and the Manchester scene.
