I played a Parkwood PW370M at the store today and I really liked the feel and the sound. I could get it for $700, $550 off the retail price of $1250, but I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the brand. Do you think this guitar is worth it? I don't like the sound of most martins because i like a brighter sound and i'm looking in the $600 range, give or take.

What alternatives do we have? Give me some ideas of good UK, Brit, or other international bands that produce good alternative, new wave, electronic, pop, indie, synth, etc, music.
