There is a new show on Sci Fi called "So, you want to be a Superhero?" Well, I am torked that I didn't even know about this or I would have auditioned. What I want to know is who is your alter ego??? I want to produce a high quality/fidelity recording of my cat's purr by strapping a microphone to his side (or something). What type of microphone would be best for this purpose and where can I buy one? I know that you can buy (on the web) recordings of cats purring and I even bought one and it's great, but now I want to record my own cat's purr.

PS: I wasn't sure where to categorize this (?).

How would you feel if a good friend didn't invite you out to celebrate their birthday? They did, however, invite all their other close friends and acquaintences. This is a friend you've known since childhood and is a friend you regularly hang out with. In the many years you've known this person you've only been invited out once for their birthday. Every year you heard this friend had a party, but they tell you they "don't celebrate their birthday." Every year they tell you the party they were at was to celebrate the birthday of a friend of theirs, not their own. Oh yeah, this person lies and manipulates about other issues a lot.
