How would you feel if a good friend didn't invite you out to celebrate their birthday? They did, however, invite all their other close friends and acquaintences. This is a friend you've known since childhood and is a friend you regularly hang out with. In the many years you've known this person you've only been invited out once for their birthday. Every year you heard this friend had a party, but they tell you they "don't celebrate their birthday." Every year they tell you the party they were at was to celebrate the birthday of a friend of theirs, not their own. Oh yeah, this person lies and manipulates about other issues a lot.

As another has stated - Find a new friend!

But she was never a friend to begin with, she was only an acquaintance, someone you knew growing up!

P.S. maybe she invited all those people cause she wanted alot of superficial gifts, or to show off, be the center of attention, and she knew you know the true her and didn't want other too!!!!!!

You are too good a friend for this friend. I would not make any effort to keep this friendship. The older I get the less time I want to waste on people who are not worth the carry. I always say people have to be a friend to have a friend.

This person is an acquaintance, not a friend!

You seem to have used the word FRIEND too loosely!

In your life time, you will not have five friends.

Who do you know that you can call, if you were vacationing in Europe, had an accident, and you called them and said, "I need you please come." And they would come without asking you, WHY? Your FRIEND would! Without question.

It sounds to me like this person is not really your friend. A true friend would not treat you that way. As much as it hurts I think you need to shop around for some new friends.

I think that this friend of your is a person who doesn't deserve you at all .Just look for a new friend who will not leave you out of things.

I'm sorry that happened to you. I wouldn't feel so good. Unless they had a very good reason they didn't even invite you. Hope you feel better!

I would crash their party, and confront them about it right there. If they lie to me about that much stuff and don't want me at their party then their probably not a true friend.

Sounds to me like their not much of a fiend. I'd just blow it off because people like that ain't worth being upset about.
