This was a very special piece of jewelry given from one EXTREMELY famous deceased entertainer to another VERY famous musician and megasuccessful songwriter as a gift. So it was sentimental and has incredible provinance attached to it. The reward offered over the radio was $30,000. The owner is worth over $200 million. Plus the bracelet alone was solid 24K gold that was very heavy. I found it by asking total strangers at a rock concert and combing the floor and calling upon "the Force". I looked so hard because of the reward. I feel so screwed. I was only their Prod. Assistant on the tour for a short time. My boss said it was my job, so I was not entitled to the reward. But they would have given it to a total stranger...It's been a few years now, so I doubt I have any legal recourse. You wouldn't believe how famous these two are. I plan on writing him a letter to let him know how I feel, but have no expectations. Oh, and I didn't even get a bonus, a gift or even a thank you card!
