im a 16 year old girl who is about to start english lit in sixth form and would like to start expanding my knowledge by reading some books. i used to be such a bookworm but now need to get back into the habit...so please recommend some that are really good!!

I am a single black female, who is 36 years old, & at the present time working a commmon laborer occupation, (janitorial). This position seems to have me locked into it due to the medical benefits, & somewhat flimsly job security. I so desperately want to find a more suitable position, but cannot seem to settle on a choice. I am leaning toward an occupation that is clerical, but I want it to be challenging & rewarding.
I am somewhat of a late bloomer in life regarding a solid career, but i would really like some input from those who are knowledgeable in this said matter. I just recently finised my GED & have taken advantage of the many programs, (computers), Word, (certificate#1). In the process of completing, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, etc... Although I work nights, 6 days a week, I do whatever I can in my sparetime to futher my education. If anyone also knows of any weekend courses, I would much appreciate the information, also regarding info on school supplies.

Ok, Im a sophomore, and I messed up with my grades for my freshmen year, and the first half of my sophomore year, I had D's. If I get A's for the rest of my sophomore, junior, and seinor year, will a university want to accept me ? or is it too late ?

I am looking for a yearbook from Granite city, IL. dated back to around 1994-1995. I have checked for the school but the school is no longer in operation. The school's name was Lake Elementry school. I have checked on Ebay & found nothing. I would even be happy with a yearbook from Granit City High School dated back to 1999-2003 Have any ideas? Or know where I can get a copy??

I am a foreign trained nurse. I entered the USA with tourist visa to visit my fiancee who is a citizen. We are going to get married in a few weeks. So I hope to have work permit and a green card. I know that to become a nurse here I have to take the NCLEX-RN exam. I want to know if I still need to take the first one called the CGFNS exam because I already have a green card?
