I've convinced my 24 year old bf to go back to HS... when he dropped, he was in the 10th grade, which I am currently going into. They have already put me in Calculus, while he failed Algebra I, so has to take both Algebra I and Algebra II. It completely loses him. How can I help him without it seeming like I'm actually helping him? (male pride is such a pain)

I am thinking of taking spanish 1(with a supposedly easy teacher who is salways helpful to students and makes classes fun) and stellar astronomy for the fall with a non credit kickboxing class(it's not really 'kick boxing' per se. It's more like an intense workout class where each part of the body is working on during the week and worked on hard..to the point where you can barely move it the next day)

I also want to take an acting 1 class since I am an actor and need a refresher(and it really helps me get through the day..but I am already taking an improvisation class--whose line is it anyway stuff on saturdays.. but i really like the people in the dept and I want to be friends with them but last semester was kinda eh so now i don't know)..however...since the kickboxing and acting class would be taken as non credit, the kickboxing class is $48 and the acting class is $144.
and I can't take both because it would interfere with my spanish class

Are the attacks leading up to and including that fateful day of September 11, taught, or even discussed, in school...Should it be and at what grade level...?

And, I don't mean as any type of current event project...

Is the history of 9-11 still being written....?

I dread starting high school, more than ever, probably because I haven't made any significent progress in any area of life. I was more of a profilic writer at age twelve than I am now, though now my ideas are probably a little less worthless since life experience makes them less hollow. But, alas, the writer's block will now cease. Intellectually, I'm probably more capable and more apt at processing things but I have zero willpower and never do anything. Which depresses me greatly, but I have no initiative or motivitation.

I am definitely not where I wanted to be at 14 (turning fourteen on the 13th). Not that I consciously thought 'I will be good at such and such when I'm 14', but I did think, subconsciously, that I'd have made some progress. Depressing.

I suppose I'll just stop moaning and do something (though I'm not sure how to do this!). See, it's an endless cycle of being unproductive, realizing I'm unproductive, being depressed about it, and going back to being unproductive.

Can someone describe exactly what both do? What are their earning potentials? And besides working in a court room, what other areas need these professionals? Preferably one that is low key and not as congested as a typical court room. I've heard a few can work as closed captioned operators. Thanks

I know the format Americans write the date is month/day/year but what is the grammatically correct way of writing out the date in full, with commas, etc i.e. August, 11, 2006 or August 11, 2006 or August, 11th, 2006 or August 11th, 2006?

I'm going to be starting highschool and I have no idea what's it like! I'm going to a brand new school that was never open with very few kids does that make school easier? What were you in highschool? Prom queen, jock, geek, cheerleader, smart cutie, wierdo, etc.

Ok, the only reason I joined choir was to help me practice singing for my band. Today was the first day, and we have to audition. When I finished, he said I was a Tenor II Baritone, and he was putting me in acappella. I guess what I'm asking is, what does all of this mean?
