1. First problem which I can’t get right.
Dy/dx| x=0
If y= 2/ sqrt(4-x)

Answer in the back of the book: 1/8

My work:
> sqrt(4) * 0 – (2) (1/2) (4-x)^(-3/2) / 4-x [quotient rule]
> -1/ (4-x)(4-x)^(3/2)
> -1/ (4-0)(4-0)^(3/2)
> -1/ 4* 8 =
= -1/32

But the answer of the back of the book says 1/8, can someone tell me what I did wrong?

2. Second problem which I can’t get right is:
Find the derivatives of the function:
F(x) = sqrt(s) – 1/ sqrt(s) + 1

Answer in the back of the book: f ‘ (s) = 1/ sqrt(s) * ((sqrt(s) + 1)^2)

My work:
F’(x) = (1/2)s [power rule]
G’(x)= -(1/2)s [power rule]

> ((1/2)*s) ((s^ (1/2)) +1) + (s^(1/2))*(-(1/2)s) [quotient rule]
> From here I expanded, but it ended up, and it cancelled out. What should’ve I done?

3. What does it mean when a problem ask me to find the smallest slope?
Question: What is the smallest slope on the curve? At what point on the curve dos the curve have this slope?

a tragic hero is a protagonist who has a terrible downfall that usually results in his death but not always (Ex-Hamlet)

i really need some examples of a tragic hero in recent movies and tv show...not literature (ie-NOT SHAKESPEARE). so shows like friends or movies like the pursuit of happiness would be fine. thanks so much . any help or suggestions would be gladly appreciated.

Im writing a summary on why the articles of confederations failed and this is onw argument that i wrote

Another problem arose with the Congress. The larger states were expected to contribute, but had only one vote. States stopped sending delegates to the meetings because they thought it was unfair for the larger states to have one vote just like the smaller states. Thus, it was hard to make decisions about problems in the country because according to the Articles all states had to agree with the change.

What else should I add?and whats someways i can make it sound smatter?

For my ninth grade Middle Ages project, I have to create and present a visual for my topic, Joan of Arc. It's supposed to be creative- not just a poster, powerpoint, or a costume. For example, someone whose topic is the vikings could build a model ship, someone doing castles could build a detailed diorama, someone doing weapons could create their own example, etc. But since my topic is a person, what can I do to portray it? I'm having a lot of trouble thinking of something not to grusome, and something not too difficult- it's due tommorrow! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I've been given a table for which I need to complete and then draw a a graph for (Either line or bar, not sure which), for my homework...

The table shows the masses that blocks can support.. The table has 3 columns, one with samples (1-9), and the other two columns for mass, with a list of masses - they vary quite a bit on each column.

I assume there are two mass columns as the experiment was done twice, but I've been told to complete the table then draw a graph from the complete results, not sure how to complete it and then whether it's a line graph or bar (i'm guessing line though).

When they say complete it, my idea was it was to work out the average of each sample, but I'm not too sure..

Hope you can help!

Cool Cat Cafe -New Castle Upon Tyne

This £6.5 m former Victorian flour mill was recently opened by children's laureate Jacqueline Wilson. And no doubt, after facing the media scrum eager to get a glimpse of Ronald Dahl and JK Rowling manuscripts, she would have headed to the Cool Cat Cafe for a Grobscottle. Swiggle, Sherbet Slurper or Oompa Loompa cocktail to steady her nerves. Sensibly, the menu is short and to the point (we're promised, not unlike Pinocchio's nose, that it will grow)-quiche and various stufed rolls (the smoked salmon with a liberal dousing of lemon and cracked black pepper hit the spot)with rather wicked cakes. But it's the kids who score here. With not a chip in sight, they can indulge in the Cool Cat platter- a face made from Marmite or peanut butter mini rolls, "slimy" apple slices, "wiggly" raisins, carrot stick insects and cherry tomato "eyeballs".
