Ms. Mary's rectangular classroom is proportional to the rectangular band hall, The band hall is twice as long as Ms. Mary's Classroom. If the perimeter of the band hall is 180 feet, what is the perimeter of Ms. Mary's classroom?

Can someone please explain how to get the answer to this problem, thanks

you take the band hall wich is 180ft and divide it by two, because it the band hall is twice ms. mary room. and your answer will be 90ft. 180/2=90
