If one beaker contains sugar and water, while the other one contains salt and water, what can I do to test which one contains the salt or sugar, without tasting it? Can I let the water evaporate and be able to tell the difference between sugar and water? Or if you filter it, one gets filter while the other one doesn't get filtered?

I'd prefer if it were a "lighter" topic (ie. NOT abortion, genocide etc) and more towards the funny side (ie. whether or not parents should tell kids that Santa exists)

A net force of 255 N accelerates a bike and rider at 2.20 m/s. what is the mass of the bike and rider?

I was thinking that since,

Force = mass x acceleration...

255N = 2.20m + 9.8m
255N = 12m
m = 21.25 kg

The answer is 16 kg and i'm lost as to how i'm not getting it.

Thanks

The reason for setting these groups of people was to free themselves from limitations imposed by the parliament. The rulers created bureaucracies to control their countries economies
