I am a nurse planning to purchase a PDA to aid me in my profession. I would like it to be compatible with various softwares designed to aid nurses at work (drug guide, nursing diagnoses, etc..). I also would like it to work efficiently and be hassle-free, since most nurses really hate to be wasting time resetting it over and over. And lastly, I hope it has a generous memory to put mp3 files for me to listen to during breaks. I have been wrecking my head browsing over the internet for advice, but I think a nurse or someone in the medical profession can give me the best advice. thanks in advance!

Greetings all! My company uses Blackberry and i'm the IT Admin there responsible for installing all the BBs for my staff. Occasionally, Blackberry will release new models which my company acquire and then I'm suppose to replace some of the senior staff's older BB with the newer models.

1 - May I know would it be better to execute a Full Restore or a Selective Restore (memos, messages, SMS, etc) after replacing their BB?

Currently, most of the staff here are using a selection of 8700, 7100, 7230 and 7730. I'm replacing most of them with either Pearl or 8707 (3G) BB.

If I were to do a Full Restore, would it have issues as i'm backing up a older model of BB and restoring it on a newer version.

2 - In addition, if I were to do a Selective Restore, what are the important items I need to restore as sometimes, I miss out vital info like memos and such. What are the rest of the data that are important that I should restore over? Like password keeper, etc?

I have a Sony Ericsson W550, and I love it, because the ringtones are SO loud! I bought a Samsung SGH-D800, and absolutely hated it!, because it wasn't loud enough. I am needing a Blackberry for all of the other features that they offer..(Email.Web browser.Expandable memory.)but don't want to loose the volume of the ring..To those of you who know, how loud is the ring on blackberry? specific phone if interest is the Pearl.. Thanks in Advance!
