Does any one own the handheld sat nav?
If so please comment on it's good and bad points.

Hey
I'm interested in getting one too, I checked it out at Halford's today.

The TomTom One (v1) is slightly chunkier I believe!

v2 is only just released and comes as either 'Europe' or 'Regional' (e.g. UK maps only).

The regional version is slightly cheaper but probably worth it if you never drive abroad anyway!

Online I found these reviews pretty useful!

I believe that this model is very competitive at the entry-level of GPS devices, although for a little bit more you could find something with maybe a larger screen and bluetooth handsfree for your phone.

Hope you find this helpful!

I use TomTom with my husband's pocket PC (Dell Axim X51v). It's much smaller and more convenient than the dedicated sat nav units, and from what I can see, much more efficient and versatile too.

Of course, it's only as good as the maps that are loaded onto it. We had some problems driving through Sheffield, as the centre has been completely redone, and the maps haven't caught up yet.
