I have run into the problem that trying to do a straight copy of the windows directory from drive c: to drive e:, so that I may switch drives (making what is now the e: drive the ci: drive and vice versa) and reboot using my larger drive as my system drive. I have effecively run out of space for windows on the smaller drive and need to port everything to the larger drive. There are files that windows will not allow me to copy because they are in use while I attempt to do this, so I am trying to use cmd.exe to effect this, but have forgotten how to do this as I have not used DOS in several years. anybody's insight on this would be greatly appreciated.
