How to remove the bluish background from the text taken from Wikipedia when i Copy-paste it in MS-Word?

Paste the text into notepad. Notepad doesn't support any fancy colors so Notepad will naturally strip any font or color attribute.

Once Notepad has stripped that fancy stuff, copy it out of Notepad and paste it into Word. voila.....

You could try pasting the plagiarised material as plain text...
