I've been managing my money for quite some time and have done very well. I realized that I may not be making wise choices with mutual funds and gave $80K to Fidelity to manage while I manage the rest of my accounts with Fidelity. This was 4 months ago. My rollover has since lost 10k. Is it time to dump or is this the stock market? None of my other investments have lost this much. This is 10 grand in 4 months... I'm ready to call them and say "we're done, I'll do it" but I'm not sure if they've changed my funds to give me a better turnover whereas I've left my money in my other funds for years. Am I missing something?

Are interest rates on the rise for CDs or falling? I want to know what a good rate is and what would be above/below average. Because I want to know whether to open a CD with my savings now or at the end of summer (end of Aug)

I'm not maxing my Roth IRA every year. My Roth account is listing money I'm short of maxing for each year. Does that mean I can put new money in to fill my allotment from previous years? For instance my allotment for the past two years was $4,000, but I only put in $3,000 last year. Could I put in $5,000 ($1,000 to fill in the allotment from last year and $4,000 for my allotment for this year) this year?

Or do you think they're going down farther? I'm buying on a regular schedule rather than trying to time the market, but I'm curious what others are doing.

This was a company promoted by the same management who promoted STM Teak plantation downsouth. They sold orchards in south as well as in the north in 1 acre/!/2 Acres and 1/4 acre plots and promised returns within 3 to six years. After selling this scheme they just vanished from the scene. All investors in these schemes, let's get together for joint action with the concerned authorities to get back our investments. It is in the interest of all of us to find a way out to get our hardearned money back from such unsrupulous people. I'm looking forward to meet all investors to build up a forum for protest to the authorities. Awaiting your answers !

Everyone expects another rate hike. Plus a lot of expectations that rate increases don't end in June. Soros says there's lack of liquidity in the world markets. Summer months are historically weak. Is this formula for stock market fallout on the 1st week of July? I just want to make sure I'm on the right side when all of this happens.

Ok, this might be a stupid question, but for all of you beanie baby collectors, maybe you can help me out. I used to collect beanie babies awhile back. All of the ones that I have are retired because I haven't bought any new ones. I dont even know if being retired or not means anything, but what should I do with them? I want to sell them, but would it be better for me to wait a few years and see if their values increase? or should I just sell the lot of them on eBay now? Are they ever going to get as popular as they once were where I would be able to sell them for twice what I would get now?
