I want to get fake nails (done professionally at a salon), but have a few concerns. I have heard that they ruin your nails. True? Also, how long do they usually last and what is an average price to have them put on? Do I have to have the salon take them off or can I do it on my own?

I'm pretty tan, like an oliveish color. And my hair is naturally golden brown. I have dark brown eyes. I'm just really tired of my hair color and want a change...what color would look best on me?

I have a meeting with a big agency in NY in 2 weeks. I live in San Diego and was born and raised on the West and we dress casual for most meetings. I want to wear something professional and also appropriate for the season. I also don’t want to have to have to walk long distances in uncomfortable clothes. okay, me and my friend always dress up for holidays and stuff like that..
last fourth of july we dressed in all red, white, and blue and we wore tons of ribbon in our hair and stuff..
we went to the place where there are parades and stuff.. lots of people didnt dress up and i sorta felt weird.. i almost wished i wouldve just worn like a regular shirt and some abercrombie skirt.

My nails are very weak especially when i wet them,I have to when it comes to chores like washing dishes (Yes,I am aware that I can wear gloves.)

I just came from camping and I have 20 mosquito bites! I have been itching them and now they have little scabs on them. Im going on a trip were I'm going to meet lots of hot guys but I dont want to go with bites all over me! is there any medication or something to make them go away? HELP!

i'm looking for someone who lives in the atlanta area who can give me sewing lessons. my goal is to be able to construct everyday garments, if you know how to make indian/pakistani clothes, that's a bonus. right now, i can sew a button back on, repair a ripped seam, and make small general alterations to my clothes. i have very limited knowledge of working with a sewing machine however, i'm a quick learner so i'm not too worried. i have lots of designs drawn out, but i have no idea how to actually make them, so i'm coming to yahoo for some help. i will, of course, pay for your time. thank you!

my lower body is actually a little heavy.. my waist size is 33.. so actually 34 size jeans r lose to me and 32 waist size is little tight to me.. like figure hugging.. what shud i do.. shud i wear tight jeans or keep wearing 34 size.. which is a quite lose to me.. plz answer genuinely.

I am 13 and have become really self consious about my eyebrows, and i was wondering how to pluck them. I know i should probably get them waxed, since that would be easier, but I don't know if my dad would let me. Can you tell me how to pluck my eyebrows because I dont want to mess them up???
