You need to take a beach tote and put money and camera in a ziplock bag so camera doesn't get wet by accident. Be careful with money though - might NOT want to keep it in same bag as everything else unless you'll have someone else there who can watch the bag while you're in the water.

bring a beach bag that either zips or ties and put it in there, keep an eye on it and dont let everyone know that you are putting your money in there ( like be "secretive" about it) thats what i do everytime i go to the beach and nobody has ever taken a thing. good luck!

Lock them in the trunk of your car. If you're going to swim and you don't have a car, don't take the camera if you don't have a friend to watch it for you. I don't bring money with me to swim, just to eat and walk the boardwalk. I leave everything locked in the trunk of my car, except for my giant towel, suntan lotion, bottled water in a cooler bag, and a set dry clothes.

you could either buy one of those disposable cameras that are for underwater of if you have a digital camera you could get a waterproof case because when I went to Jamaica we went water rafting so a guy bought one of those waterproof camera covers they probally havee them at walmart or a your local camera store and for you money get one of those cylinder shapes containers that they probally have at the dollar store so try it and pick me :)

I put things like that in a plastic baggie and then discretely dig a hole under my towel and place it into the hole and cover with sand and my towel. place an "x" over the hole to better localize where to dig to recover stuff.
