Fashion & Accessories - March 2007

I don't do much shopping online as I have trouble guessing what size will fit, but I figured I'd give it a shot with hoodies since they're not especially fitted. I'm looking for somewhere online (besides cafepress) to buy hoodies that aren't terribly expensive (Not more than $20 a hoodie, preferrably.) I prefer 'prettier' hoodies as opposed to grunge/skater ones, if that makes a difference. Any sites would be appreciated. Thanks!

I love Victoria's Secret-(I like to feel sexy), but I also love Old Navy and Abercrombie and Fitch. Make-up wise, I like Almay and Neutrogena. Their products are fresh and clean and don't make my face feel heavy or "too made-up."

I like the belt over long shirts thing, but I've never actually tried it. I still see it everywhere in my clothing catalogs I get by mail. Is this still in? And if yes, I have a long white button front shirt I plan on wearing w/ khaki jeans and am thinking of wearing a belt over the shirt. Would this belt look ok with it?

What happens is I forget to tie up the shorts really well and the drawstring comes out. Is there an easy way to get the drawstring back in? I have tried myself using a needle and thread and quickly become frustrated.

Some website suggest casual clothes, i.e jeans and t-shirt. Which seems a good idea. But what about shoes, wouldn't they seem a bit clumsy in the photograph surely bare feet would be better? What's your opinion?

I am a 34 year old part-time freelancing graphic designer/stay at home mom. I live in NYC and I love fashion. The problem is I hate all my clothes and I hate all the clothing I see at the places like the Gap. I feel like I am too old to shop at places like this and too young for places like Talbots. I love anthropologie but find the clothing too expensive for the quality. I am looking for a place where I can get some good basics and achieve that Audrey Hepburn classic style. Shes having the bridesmaid in pink (brides flowers also pink) and groom in a delicate beige. However, even thou i have no role and just as present as a guest.
