I like the belt over long shirts thing, but I've never actually tried it. I still see it everywhere in my clothing catalogs I get by mail. Is this still in? And if yes, I have a long white button front shirt I plan on wearing w/ khaki jeans and am thinking of wearing a belt over the shirt. Would this belt look ok with it?

Yes belts are still in this season. But unlike last season, the wide belts seem to be falling out of favour. The in fashion belts are thinner ones. Woven belts belong to the last season, but to me they are classical. The belts to own now are patent belts or those elastic belts that are wore high waisted.
Any way you can always trust belts to make simple clothes stand out :)

Yes you can still get away with the belt over shirt look. I think it looks great and makes anyones figure look lovely!
The belt in the photo is exactly the right sore - it will look great so def get one!!
Elasticated type stratch belts work well too around the waist and obviously fit perfectly to give you a real hour glass figure.
There are also a lot of tops coming in to fashion this summer that will have little tie belts attached to them. These look cute too.
