I am really tall. I am like 5'5". And I just seem to look taller when i have to where sneakers to school (i wear hi tops), because i am a size 9 1/2 in shoes.What can I wear to de-emphasize how tall I am?

i'm going to this party and it's like an all night thing.
were going to the movies and a high school basketball game, go somewhere to eat,and skating, and i don't know what to wear.
i was thinking this pink long sleevs shirt and a loose black tank top.then jeans.
should i dress up sexier.
do you know and websites that can help u with those things.
give me your advise, wheather i should pick a different outfit or stay with the one i have.

ok.. I need to get dark in a week and a half! and I mean not like really dark but I need some color! I'm in a basketball homecoming and have to wear a short skirt/boots/and nice shirt! I'm going to a prom that's not at my school; I don't want to get a dress that's going to be huge and stuff because I don't want to have anyone thinking I'm trying to come to their school and out do them or anything, but I want something floorlength. first prom...I need help!!! also not something too expensive, I only work at a pizza shop. i am participating in a Big brother, Big sister program associated with the local public school system, and the "little sister" that i am mentoring is a freshman in highschool.
i would say that she dresses pretty cute for her age, which is 14 years old. on a normal day, she wears nice jeans, layers a couple fitted t-shirts, ballet flats, cute headband, and she likes to accesorise with cute necklaces and bracelets. she likes to wear bright colors, always has her hair in a cute style, and is all around pretty girly. but lately, this past week specifically, she has changed her whole look very abruptly. every day this week she was wearing ALL black, heavy black eyeliner, and her hair was down and very messy. the first time i just thought that it was for fun, but the next day she had temporary tattoos of skulls and crossbones on her wrists, black lipstick, and this black eyeshadow smudged all around her eyes. is this a new trend in highschools? i am just curious!
and i am not old, i am 20

I went in H&M last week.... they had ..."buy two pairs of jeans for £9.99!! ".....

I have seen two pairs of shoes I just LOVE....

which one should I go with?: oh and they r both the same similar style....

1) This boot is grey, really good quality, adds colour, lifts you off the ground nicely... etc. and soft on the outside... wellllll quite anyway.

or

2) The same boots ( and quality ) oh and same price.... but is black, maybe slightly chunkier lookin which might not be as feminine, but really easy to clean ( wipe clean, leathery material )... so it wud probably last longer maybe.

I recently bought a cropped Gap Pea Coat... it fits great EXCEPT... the sleeves are a little shorter than I like.(about a 1/2 inch maybe a little more.. the sleeves don't bunch at my wrist).. the person I bought the coat from (I bought it on Ebay) says that is fine and that is the style of the coat... is that right??... I am tall so I am VERY conscious of things looking too small on me.
