I recently bought a cropped Gap Pea Coat... it fits great EXCEPT... the sleeves are a little shorter than I like.(about a 1/2 inch maybe a little more.. the sleeves don't bunch at my wrist).. the person I bought the coat from (I bought it on Ebay) says that is fine and that is the style of the coat... is that right??... I am tall so I am VERY conscious of things looking too small on me.

it depends on how long the coat is.
long- shorter sleeves
short- not bunched, but not showing wrist
but i think its probably fine

no thats not right, did you ask her before you bought if it was for talls? it should have stated the dimensions in the add if it did you are kinda stuck with it.

ebay , maybe not be right place to , buy CLOTHS so try to go to stores, like burlington, or JCPenny,etc.. when you go to stores, you can actully try the cloths before , so you can find the perfect on ,and get the right price.
