i'm quite a big girl and am happy with who i am but what that's fashionable at the mo suits big girls best? i'm 5ft11 too.

Im kinda stuck as to what my style is at the minute, im 5 foot 2 inches tall and a size 12.. any suggestions whats good for a shorter person at the minute?

In a couple of weeks I am going on a hen weekend and one of the activities organised is a pole dancing lesson. We have been advised that the best clothing to wear would be hotpants, heels and a sleeveless top. Well, that's all well and good for the other girls but I'm of the larger persuasion! I'm not huge ( a 12-14 on top and 18 on bottom) but I really don't think hotpants are a good look on me. Can anyone advise an alternative, bearing in mind I need bear legs? Alternatively I can ban cameras and bite the bullet so to speak, but still need to buy something in a size 18. Does anyone have any bright ideas?!

i plan to get an industrial, i heard that the pressure on the holes is common and makes it heal slow, i was wondering if when i get it pierced it i can have the piercer put in a PTFE flexible barbell? i know it is bad to use externaly threaded, and the PTFE is, but i heard many good things about these, like they reduce the pain, and pressure. if i do get one of these, will it allow the holes to migrate? also im concidering an orbital instead, are thoes lessy picky? i mean are they less stress to the ear, and heal faster, and hurt less?

hi, i'm not sure what to wear with my skinny jeans and silver ballet pumps for going out on sunday night, i was thinking of wearing a dress with them, and wearing my belt to seperate the look but not sure, it's too cold to just wear a dress where i am at the moment lol. What do you think, any ideas?? Would really appreciate it, thankyou so much.

I went to Acadmey of the Arts of San francisco one of the best fashion schools and graduated with a Fashion Design/visual m degree.

and i have a friend who didnt go to that school, she is majoring in computer science and not even done with school yet.. she is kind of Ditsy too

But everytime i hang out with her everyone compliments her of HER style!! and how SHE should be a fashion designer..and how unique she is..she makes her own clothes and cutts her own hair..break dances and skateboards blah blah everyone thinks she is sOOo cool..
and all the stuff she wears she makes and buys it from thrift stores..

BUT still NO one ever compliments me!! which gets me so angry because i am the one who busted my *** in fashion school..and i always wear the latest Fashion..and spend so much money on Designer stuff..but no one ever says anything to me. I felt like i went to school for nothing

If the fashion industry is not willing to ban all together size zero models on the catwalks (see London fashion show coming up), i thought a nice idea would be to have regular size 10/12 women walk hand in hand with the professionals to show off the clothes.
After all, the clothes we, regular women (i'm a size 10), find in high street shops, are only a vague reminder of what was shown onto the catwalks. The clothes are adapted to the mainstream public (thank god!) and very few women could actually wear the designer clothes in their every day life. So, keeping this in mind, it would be nice to see what WE would look like in the orginal designs in APPROPRIATE and more REALISTIC sizes.
I'm sure i'm not the only woman when i say skinny models don't reflect at all what the outfit would look like on me. I've hips, breasts and can only compare the models to my 13 year old teenage daughter.
What do you think about my idea?
