it's my friend's birthday on monday and there's a public services theme... any ideas what i can wear? i want something different!

Let everyone wear public services theme. U wear wat u want. Just sth casual. U will look different. Trust me. Let everyone follow u. Dont follow the theme.

Public services? Why cant it be something simple?
Armed forces - soldier, general
Navy - sailor, captain
Air force - pilot
Police officer/Private Eye(?)
Law - lawyer, judge
Fireman
Doctor, nurse (if you are in the UK)
Boring ideas (as a last resort):
MP, Prime minister (put on a mask), Teacher

Here's three!
first, dress in a shabby coat and take a dead body on a trolley - hospital porter.
second, wear a yellow reflective jacket and a grumpy expression, then make a lollipop sign - lollipop person.
Favourite - put on a fake mustache and shabby suit, turn up an hour late and complain about the noise - noise abatement officer.

I don't get it. You have to dress up like someone who works for a public service?
If that's what you mean, here are my suggestions:
Binman
Teacher, complete with leather elbow pads on your tweed jacket
Doctor/Nurse
Road sweeper
Traffic warden
Technically, you could go dressed as a soap star, like someone from Eastenders, seeing as that's publically funded by licence fees, which ultimately pays their salary!

at Christmas My self and a pair of artwork friends gained the flamboyant gown contest interior the entire development. We dressed as Little Britain characters. My boss became into Lou, my mate became into Andy and that i went as Vicky Pollard. we gained £50 and a case of champagne. it became into fairly undemanding to do besides, a purple music tournament for Vicky. a vest and joggers for Andy and a trackie for Lou! you're able to bypass as Bubbles and bypass with towel wrapped around your head and a white bath gown padded out and paint your face orange! what ever you do have exciting!
