I let my friend borrow my Converse All Star shoes for a while, and when he returned them, there was stuff written all over the rubber part with Sharpies (Permanent markers)

How can I get the marker out of the rubber part?
I already tried alcohol and washing it.
Please help!

I just started having to wear uniforms to work, i wear a polo shirt and kackis (however you spell it) and we have to tuck the shirt in...well my problem is i'm a little overweight and i was wondering, other than losing weight is there anything i can do to downplay my size? i am sooo self concious, i don't want to look like the fat girl at work, but that is how i feel. I'm going to a concert this weekend, and my boyfriend and I decided to cosplay as Jrockers. I'm going to be Mana, which some of you may know requires Mary Jane platforms, but I don't know if I can stand them that long. I've worn them before but only for about 20 minutes ( my feet were killing me after that amount of time ), and I was standing still the whole time. Are there any tricks as to how to deal with 15.24cm heels for that amount of time?

I'm a boy, by the way. I don't know if that makes a difference or not, though...
