I'm going to a concert this weekend, and my boyfriend and I decided to cosplay as Jrockers. I'm going to be Mana, which some of you may know requires Mary Jane platforms, but I don't know if I can stand them that long. I've worn them before but only for about 20 minutes ( my feet were killing me after that amount of time ), and I was standing still the whole time. Are there any tricks as to how to deal with 15.24cm heels for that amount of time?
I'm a boy, by the way. I don't know if that makes a difference or not, though...

I would put bandaids on ur toes/feet it may help from rubbing and hurting.
Also get some dr schols or whatever pads to help ur feet from hurting that much in them.

Before I start "Not Mike" is off his head! He put that answer on another question and it didn't make sense either! lol. Do what I do when my feet starting hurting in heels - whip them off and do your feet a favour! Bunions are ugly don't you know! Look after your feet and stop being a slave to fashion. Okay I've no idea what Mary Jane platforms are and why you HAVE to wear them but rather you than me! P.S. Okay I'll give a sensible answer. If you go to your local chemists they sell something called "party feet" (there are different alternatives). It's a gel-like pad you put inside the shoe that soothes and protects your insoles for people who wear heels - give them a try maybe?

Boy, my feet hurt just thinking about it. Have you tried Mary Jane platforms a size or two bigger or wider than you normally wear? That might give you a little extra room in the shoes. Since you're only going to be wearing them for that concert gig, and not for general walking, no one will guess that they are not your regular size. Other than that, I don't know, unless you can pretend to feel faint and have to sit down.

It's the ankles that are going to feel it the most. Try and keep moving as standing still will make your feet hurt more. And maybe take a pair of light shoes (black plimsolls) in case you really can't hack it and have to change!

you can buy gel pads called scholl 'PARTY FEET' which can help the soreness u may feel in the balls of your feet. if u really wanna wear those platforms i would take another pair of comfy shoes along with u in a bag just in case! if ur platforms start to hurt u don't want it to ruin ur nite!

Wow! Different strokes for different folks. But If you were to go into a shoe store or even wal-mart you could find the Dr.Sholz shoe pads.

Yeah, well, I see everyone's given you all sorts of helpful (not) answers, huh? Maybe better ones a-coming.
There's actually exercises chicks can do to "stand" stiletto heels, something to do with the calf muscles. Try a yahoo search "exercise" and "stiletto" and "calf" ...hope that helps, dude.
And, I'm telling MOM!

Have your man hold you if you feel kinda woozy. But be strong, get stoned, and enjoy the musical atmosphere. The experience will have a lasting hold on your conscience!!!!!!!! Then go home, and have efficient german sex!
