Okay, a few friends (girls) of mine are having a party which will be sorta like a sweet 16 party. I'm told it will be like a cocktail party and was wondering what I should wear and what would be acceptable.

I have heard (and seen similar questions in Yahoo answers) that you can use toothpaste to clean jewelry. But can you use toothpaste on earrings?
Exactly how do you use toothpaste to clean earrings? I'm assuming you dilute it somehow, but do you soak the earrings or have to scrub them etc?
Any other ideas that's cheap to clean earrings?

I took my watch off and put it in my pants pocket. I forgot about it being in my pants and it got washed and dried. The watch is still working but the band (I think it's lizard skin) is all shriveled up now and the face of the watch came off. I've had this watch for 14 years! Please help me!
