Okay, a few friends (girls) of mine are having a party which will be sorta like a sweet 16 party. I'm told it will be like a cocktail party and was wondering what I should wear and what would be acceptable.

Cocktail party... you're only 16?
Wear a suit and tie. The girls will be in cocktail gowns... this is not a casual dress occasion, unless they are completely mistaken about what 'cocktail party' means.

um mabe a nice shirt, a simple blazer, dark jeans and a nice siver chain necklace. thats soooo hott
