They may hurt in the beginning, but after you have broken them in they are the most comfortable footwear you can imagine.
It will get better soon, because the foot bed is designed to take the shape of YOUR foot, not some pre-designed standard foot.

No, if they hurt, the arches must be too high for you, or you have the wrong size. They are supposed to be so comfortable you could wear them around the house.

No,not at all.They are as ergonomic as shoes /sandals can get.Try a different size or wear New Balance.It's not good to hear that someone is hurtin...tom science

I think they're like Doc Martins, you need to break them (and your feet!) in then they're the most comfortable things ever.
