This is purely curiosity and a slightly faulty memory, lol. I heard once, I think from my seventh grade math teacher, that the people who devised the Gregorian calendar made an error somewhere, and pushed us up four years. So this year would actually be 2003... Any accuracy to this? If so, please give me sources.

i have been trying to place it, mostly because when i saw the pirates 2 movie again a few days ago, i noticed the big world map and it seemed to me like it was too accurate for the time. which of course, got me trying to place it in time. we know there are privateers, there is a king in England, and not a queen. what other clues can you find, and where in time would you place the Pirates?

The same argument that was used to justify slavery is now used to justify abortion -- slaves weren't technically humans, so slavery was ok. Today some proponents of abortion assert that abortion is ok because fetuses aren't technically human. Perhaps 100 years from now, we'll see the evil in abortion that we now recognize in slavery. Your thoughts?

In ancient times the middle east was refferred to as Northeast Africa. Everyone knows the first man and woman were Africans. How can Europeans call their ancestors Africans? When Hebrews, Egyptians and other ancient African empires were reading, writing and building structures...Europeans were still in caves. That is a historical fact. How did Europeans get the point where they converted to Hebrewism and came to dominate Northeast Africa?
