I've heard one of the local radio guys suggest that the US expansion in the early 90s almost succeeded inspite of itself. Curious on other people's thoughts...and given the choice, I'm hoping for logical answers on the business as opposed to a border skirmish type denouncing the Americans.

In recent CFL playoff games, there have been some calls that have come out of absolutely no where...and it's been like that for years! Some think that the refs are favouring a certain team...others think that they are taking bribes and still others think that they are simply just stupid and cant call a game to safe their lives. What do you think AND WHY!????

Aside from his obvious shortcomings during actual games, did the Argos get enough publicity etc. from bringing in Williams to justify what they paid?

The BC lions just whomped on the roughriders and now their headed to winnepeg to beat the alouette. They beat them 45-18 and at one point lead 29-3... in other words they destroyed them. BC has a way too high calibur offence to be shut down, and the crowd! Joseph couldn't even get the ball off. The lions are the best team in the CFL... What do you think? Will they go all the way and win their 5th grey cup?

The Rough Riders and Renegades have both failed due to mismanagement...funny enough both times by the same ownership hand. What would be a good reason to return to Ottawa? Also, assuming the CFL is smart this time and doesn't continue with the silly unbalanced scheduling, where would you put the other expansion franchise to even the numbers at 10 teams?

The league seemed pedestrian this year. Was it the loss of Ottawa that burst the bubble, or what happened?

Calgary has informed the Roughriders that they will not let the Rider's mascot, "Gainer the Gopher" into their stadium for the Western Conference Semi Final because they (Calgary) feel they will lose home field advantage if Gainer is at the game. Calgary feels they earned home field advantage and want to insure that they keep it!! Are we a little scared that your football team isn't that good Calgary.

Further, why not a bowl game with the National champ from the CFL and the NFL? After the Super Bowl, and the Canadian Grey cup

I asked this once before, but some idiot didn't like the team I was cheering for and reported me for try to influence people's answers. This time I will not say that I hope a certain team from the Atlantic Conference will win, and I look forward to reading your answers.

always feature 3 downs, 110 yards, and 20 yard end zones? And why does a large city like Montreal have difficulty holding on to a team?

I always watch games that are shown around Philly and was always wondering. Thanks in advance.
