would like to know the slang terms as well...like how much is a bob etc. I posted this in the Royalty section because I figure it is read by many English folks...we have the BBC here in the States on satelite tv as well as BBC News and it would help me to follow things better

If a king dies and has no wife/child/siblings, who is next in line for the crown? Does it go by family (as in, uncles, aunts, etc) or are there specific (unrelated) people who are in line for the crown?

I know that there are kings, queens, earls, marquis', viscounts, dukes, etc. but I can't for the life of me understand which one is above the other one and that sort of thing. If someone could provide clarification, I would greatly appreciate it!

i'm really confused say there's a king and has his queen the king dies the prince should become king once the queen dies i believe but what if the queen remarries. then if say a king and queen have a son and daughter. lets say if the prince marries doesnt girl become a princess. but wouldnt the daugther of the king and queen also be a princess. when the queen dies which one becomes queen next. if the dauhter becomes queen and the son becomes king how is the kings wife not the queen. can someone please explain to me how a royal family breaks down thanks

Publicly taking on the MacDonald's Corp???
I'd be very unhappy if I could not have my Egg McMuffin or Filet O'Fish sandwich, both tasty and affordable to the masses as well as pleasing to the tourists. Poor fella never did know or recognize a good thing did he? He is if nothing... consistent.

England has all my sympathy...a future King, huh???.
