i'm really confused say there's a king and has his queen the king dies the prince should become king once the queen dies i believe but what if the queen remarries. then if say a king and queen have a son and daughter. lets say if the prince marries doesnt girl become a princess. but wouldnt the daugther of the king and queen also be a princess. when the queen dies which one becomes queen next. if the dauhter becomes queen and the son becomes king how is the kings wife not the queen. can someone please explain to me how a royal family breaks down thanks

I'd recommend reading the 'Song of Ice and Fire' series by george r r martin.

It will make clear the entire system all the way up to lords and such.

Here's my best try:
If there is a king and queen, when the king dies his wife becomes the Queen Dowager (or Queen Mother). Their son would become the King and his wife the Queen Consort.
Now, if the original King & Queen only had a daughter, and she became Queen, she would be a Queen regnant (meaning Queen in her own right, not the wife ["consort"]) of the King).
Yes, the daughter of a King & Queen will always be a princess, unless she become Queen-she can't lose her rank, only obtain a higher one.
If the Queen Dowager remarries, she is usually known by her husband's title (even if he is a plain Mister) but will frequently be allowed to use the title of Queen Dowager as a courtesy.

Please let me know if this answers your question. I'll keep an eye on your question, and modify my answer if need be!
