Oh, leave Charles out of it.
I disagree with him, though. People should have the right to choose what they eat - fatty or veggie. Just because some people get fat eating something doesn't mean it should be banned from everyone.

Besides, I think Charles just said it as a joke, and the press blew it out of proportion. I joke about banning ice-cream every time go on a pseudo-diet.

Prince Charles has a point. McD's isn't exactly a place to go for healthy eating. As for a ban? I think that would be very difficult to do. And, if McD's was banned, then, other fast-food restaurants should be included as well.

Maybe he was making an "off the cuff remark"? I think Harry and William have dined at McDs ....

Charles is right about making healthy choices while dining out. But,that may be easier for him to say since he's in a financial position to make healthier choices and pay for them, too.

Neither of your possibilities. What should be performed is teach each person about ingesting balanced nutrition, which comprise all the numerous foodstuff communities in sufficient quantities, and getting wide-spread exercising. in case you do this, there is not any rationalization why you could't celebrate with a juicy burger or different junk foodstuff once in a lengthy time period. what's occurring in maximum cities lately is the opposite. human beings in simple terms binge on junk foodstuff for all time and lead a lot less lively lives, and then ask your self why the hell they & their youthful ones have become overweight. Then they pass about attacking quickly foodstuff organizations, as a replace of understanding that they themselves are to blame for the stupid life-form possibilities they make. also, it isn't as if the burgers, colas etc are undesirable in themselves...its out-of-administration, intense ingesting it really is undesirable. human beings do not pick to take duty for his or her own movements and picture that banning issues is a thanks to pass. it really is finished bullshit. you're not to any extent further fixing the problem in any respect, it will in simple terms resurface in yet another type. preparation and expertise about healthful ingesting and exercising are the in effortless words helpful lengthy-time period ideas. those who're conscious of this stuff can then make extra appropriate possibilities.

I personally would not set foot in a McDonald's because the food is terrible and very unhealthy. Corporation with great marketing campaigns have indoctrinated children in to eating and liking substandard foods. This carries over in to adulthood that amazes me.

If only a corporation can duped women in to liking sex with their husbands. Not that would be worth not banning.

That man is just so out of the middle ages that it creeps me out. His opinions are so completely dated and he's just so out of touch with reality. Please don't ever let the guy become king or he'll run the UK into the ground. He really needs a dose of reality, especially about how the rest of us live day to day. It seems that all he does is paint, play with his flowers and trees and ponder architecture. I'm not sure he's from our planet. How in the world could he even think up "banning" McDonald's? From who? From where? Maybe he needs his neck bolts tightened a bit.

I agree.

They don't even serve you their poison you have to go to the counter and order it...often waiting with many other eager individual's in rather long lines.

Overweight parents with overweight kids cycle through the place like it has revolving doors.
lol

PS> What do I know, I grew up in an organic centered household with emphasis on portion control.. (For that I'm grateful)

Well if McDonald's needs to be BANNED then they should also ban Burger King. Want to know why???

Burger King is also unhealthy but guess what? Burger King is an ENGLISH company!!!

Yes they used to advertise this many years ago in their late 1980's commercials that its an english company in USA!

Besides Burger King products are much more inferior than McDonald products!

So who is he fooling?
