when i highlight an 'answerers' profile pic on yahoo answers 9 times out of ten i see that they have only been a member for the past month or two. Do people get fed up of this after a couple of months and is that why there are very few who are long term members?

I can sometimes tell if someone is feeling hurt, alone, or whatever, even if I am not around them. I will often write to them and send it in the mail and what I usually hear is "I really needed that. your timing was perfect!"

Does anyone else have this intuition?

Gunmen wearing Iraqi police commando uniforms kidnapped up to 150 staff and visitors in a lightning raid on a government research institute in downtown Baghdad on Tuesday. It was quick operation. It took about 10 to 15 minutes," Theyab said. "It was a four-story building and the gunmen went to the four stories."

For the older People on here, Does this seem like Vietnam, and Cambodia all over again? Killing anyone who would fight for a democratic society? I was a kid at that time, but from all I read, it sounds like it to me.

People have always had to compete, for sexual partners, jobs. Men against
men, women against women, white against white, etc, etc. It brought out strength
