I certainly have felt the same way as you. I always try to do my very best in every situation, I go out of my way to help people, and I take the extra step to make things go well. I also stand up for what I believe in and because of all those things I believe I intimidate people. There always seems to be someone that misreads my efforts and ends up getting mad at me. It sometimes makes me want to stop trying to do the best thing and think only of myself, in essence, screw everyone else. But because I have pride in myself I will never do that.

I don't have a particular story, but I think we've all felt at one time or another in life that the entire world is on our shoulders. The only advice I can give is to keep your chin up, keep striving to do better. We create our own destiny. You are given different paths to choose, it's up to YOU to choose which one is better. And always remember....this too shall pass.

When I was young, one of my best friends from my old school had a party at my favorite Chinese, and did not invite me...

To make matters worse, I had to spend ages in the car with my mum, and when we finally got home she made a 'stir fry' that was with horrid ingredient, and was with Indian rice.

I felt sooo bad then.

oh i know that feeling very well !! bills piling up, hubby working two jobs, car repo'd , kids want everything they see, mortage not paid/taxes not paid, last of the bread the toaster burnt. but ya know i always remember a couple of things : theres always someone worse off, ("there but for the Grace of God, go I " and "this too shall pass" life is what you make it, if not for the sorrows there'd be no joys. and then theres that classic story of the man who cried because he had no shoes- till he met a man who had no feet.
