isnt it really about letting the other know that you love them and want to be with them or mabey how much you care. why do people think they got to spend money on them to let them know. some people i know acually feel real bad cause they cant afford to get thier others a nice present. this whole holiday of love is kinda startin to crap out into a holiday of commercialism if ya ask me? let your love know your love not your finacial status.

Okay, guys, V-Day is coming up fast. My best friend and I have started 'dating' again but it's a recent thing (like we agreed to try this whole thing again two weeks ago and it's been going very well due to the fact that we've both grown up a bit over the years). This guy is a major sweetie (he actually came to my store to pick me up from work rather than wait in the van and offered to help me pick up my bookcase next week) and he was hurt bad in a previous relationship, something I was privy to due to our chats. This coming V-Day I want to do something nice for him that doesn't involve sex, since V-Day is a work day for him. I'm seriously considering a trip to Build-A-Bear, since we have one in our town but am not sure about it. I'm looking for sweet but not overly mushy. He and I agreed, when we talked about what we wanted in our relationship, that friendship was our foundation and would remain so. Guys, any suggestions? Oh, and he's very affectionate.

Mkay, my boyfriend is a Marine. He'll be home over valentines day then he leaves for Japan for 2 years!! Last year, I bought my wife a valentine's day ring and matching earrings. She worked at a big company with a lot of women in her department. NONE of them got jewelry from their husbands/boyfriends. Some got cards, less got flowers (my wife hates flowers; she says jewelry last forever).

What do you think those women said to their husbands/boyfriends that night when they came home? Many came to work the next day furious as they got NOTHING for valentines day. Even a card.

This is my boyfriend and I's first Valentines day together and i want to make it memorable.....but i dunno what to get him or wat to do to surprise him ....any ideas..... i thought about making a memory book but we havent been datin that long soo that doesnt work to well....we cant just go out that night because i have to work.....so i want to make something either homemade crafty thing or buy him something and do something creative , unique and UNforgetable for him,....Any one have any ideas at all .....your input is greatly appreciated..

the only problem is, he's allergic to ALL metals. i looked at glass and stone rings but there is nothing i like, and i am limited to a $20 spending limit. what suggestions do you have? and, can he wear titianium? and to all you who answered before. i hate you all. i'm only 14, i dont have a great spending limit you jerks.
