Remember one of the very special moments between you both.. even if it was a very simple moment.. and think deeply about what did you really felt about her then..and how much you felt so much love for her at that moment.. and then write what you feel down .. put it in a nice envelope.. buy her a very simple present (a beautiful rose for instance) .. and invite her for a long walk in a quite place.. buy her a hot drink while walkin' .. and good luck.. As For Me..That would be the very best and romantic plan for any special day.. as i dun celebrate on valentines day anyway :D :D..

if you have a botanical garden in your town that is free or by donation only, would be romantic, or an art gallery etc. take a special winter walk somewhere scenic and give her a cute or funny hat for the occasion or wear extra clothing under your coat so u can give her your coat to wear while walking...or scarf. hold her hand alllll day and say nice things to her! give her one of your favorite cds or videos that she loves too. make a snowman together then make awesome hot chocolate! memories like those last a lifetime. happy valentines day to you two and God Bless!

Basically what I'm doing is that I'm giving him a memory box with some stuff I put together for him. I also made him a really nice card with a heartfelt poem that I wrote. I made him a poem book with pictures I have taken as well. : } I'm doing all this stuff because Valentine's is our first anniversary. â¥

Go to the craft store.. buy some beads.. you can get some pretty decent glass ones and even a heart charm for very cheap.
make her a bracelet. its something that she can keep forever and its super sweet because you made it.
pair it up with a card and a single flower.. something OTHER than a rose. Gerbera daisys are cute.
Good luck... im sure she will love whatever you give her!

make your own little picnic lunch. make sandwiches and cut them into bite size pieces, potato salad, fruit and chocolates. the idea is to have food that are in bite size so that you can feed them to each other! write her a poem or print out your own homemade card. buy a bunch of little valentine candies, jelly beans, chocolates...and put them in a cofffe mug along with her card or poem that you wrote for her. you can get all of these things from the dollar store. the food you will have to make yourself. it doesn't have to be fancy, it's the thought that counts. unless your girlfriend is really superficial, most women would be happy to know that their bf went to all that trouble just for her. good luck!

A beaded necklace with I love you on it, or stuffed animal. Better yet if you can manage it, look online for help in ways to make an Oragami red heart. Gives the gift a personal touch.

Present her with a card that says you can agree to be her personal genie for an entire day or at least twelve hours, granting her every wish that is within reason and within your power. I did this for my BF and he got a real kick out of it. When I told my gf's about it they told their bf's and their bf's all thought that it was a great idea.

An afternoon at your local museum... Take her to a nice restaurant for dessert only...make a picnic and have it on your (clean) living room floor... get a blank journal/sketch book and list your favorite things about her... creatively design, sketch, cut and paste drawings to match...go to Michaels, buy a frame, and using markers, paints, etc, decorate it ... go to a photo booth and have your pix taken cut them out so they make 4 seperate pix and draw and make your own mattes for them. buy her favorite childhood book.
