I know the answers about living in different climates, isolationism etc. However, it seems to me that if we all started out on the Continent of Africa, with the physical and physiological characteristics that are common there, it's a real stretch to think that moving to Norway is going to give us different bone structure, facial features, white skin and blue eyes, plus differences in our blood, i.e. no Sickle cells etc.
Anyone have any other thoughts on this that you want to share?

European intellectuals tried to explain the Mongol conquest of Poland, Russia, Silesia, and Hungary in any number of ways. Their explanations and stories reveal much about European fears and anxieties. What did the Europeans fear? What was the most immediate impact of the European misconceptions?

Its seems humans have evolved or been created (depending on your viewpoint) to a point where they are out of balance with their environment. Their ability to accumulate knowledge over generations has led them to totally dominate the Earth and other species. They have no natural predator apart from those from the micro biological world. How could God/nature make such an error? It's as if something has interfered in the natural balance of things.

With all of the exploring that human beings are doing, I would wonder what would happen if we found such a scenario. There are surely many planets that are "suitable." It's just a matter of finding one that offers the "exchange" that humans can tolerate.

How the freaking heck did they evolve blond hair?

They are living in isolated islands cut off from the rest of humanity (which rules out european introgression) and also live under really hot tropical weather.

Can anyone kindly explain this to me please.
Thank you.
