10x-(10/x^2) = 112 + 2/3

I posted this in question before and was told to multiply everything by 3x^2. I see the reasoning behind doing this, but how do you determine that 3x^2 was the right number for doing it? I'm sure it just wasn't a guess?

hey... i've been doing a survey for school. The data i collected goes this way....

x f(x)
0 0
10 0,2
20 1,2
30 4,2
40 7,7
50 11,8
60 18,8
70 31,6
80 46,6
90 69,8
100 100

the question is:... CAN I GET A FUNCTION FROM THIS DATA... OR WOULD IT BE JUST APPROXIMATE...? IF I CAN, WHICH IS THAT FUNCTION?.... PLEASE, SHOW HOW YOU REALIZED... THANKS

PS: THIS FUNCTION WOULD BE DEFINED FOR ALL x VALUES BETWEEN 0 AND 100... thanks!!

Who else hates when people answer questions in this category with "I'm not going to do your homework for you" or something like that? That is so annoying... What's the point of answering because if you don't answer at all then you're still not doing my homework for me... Or why are you even on Yahoo! ANSWERS if you're not going to give me an ANSWER?! That just ticks me off.

This is a differential equations problem. I think you have to find y complementary and y particular. The e throws me off. Please show how you did it. Thanks a bunch.

How do I find the zeros of f(x) = 2(x^3) + 6(x^2) - 4.5x - 13.5 WITHOUT using the calculator?

I attempted to use the possible rational zeros & synthetic division, but it's a bit complicated...

Step-by-step detailed instructions would be helpful :)
