In this problem, f(x) = 2x+1 & g(x) = 3x^2,
which represents g(f(x)) ?

The answer is 12x^2 + 3 ...
so that means within solving it, I showered the power.

BUT when it came to a problem like this,:
x+2 = square root of x + 8,
[once you're in the middle of the steps,
it seems like you could shower the power,
but in reality you use foil to get the answer] ..

So yeah. I know you can't shower the power
when the sign is negative, so therefore,
you do it when it's positive. How should I know
when to use FOIL or just shower the power ?

Can anyone help me solve for x on the following:

a.) 8^x=(1/32)^x-2

b.) 3^2x-12(3^x)+27=0

c.)(4x^3e^3x)-3x^4e^3x=0
**Without the exponents, the problem reads "4xe-3xe" its just hard to type that in an easy to read manner!

d.)e^2x=7

e.) 4^2x+3=5

If you can work out even just one problem, that would be great, but I would like to have examples of all problems at some point. Thanks a lot!!!!

I have an urgent problem need to be work out,
the problem is:

"Prove if z1,z2,z3 are distinct points, and w1,w2,w3 are distinct points, then the Mobius transformation T satisfying T(z1)=w1,T(z2)=w2,T(z3)=w3 is unique.[hints:S is another
such Mobius transformation and consider the fixed points of composition T^1.S]"

If nobody can solve this question, can anybody suggest a better website to do it such as online tutor...
